Helen is an Associate Solicitor within Eric Robinson Solicitors’ family law team. She qualified in 2012, joining the firm a year later. She specialises in family matters and is approved by the Law Society as a Family Law Scheme Member.
Helen specialises in divorce and financial matters, injunctions, Children Act matters and cohabitation planning and disputes. With matters concerning children, she deals will disputes over the arrangements for children for both parents and grandparents, and for divorces she is experienced in drafting complex divorce petitions to prove that the marriage has broken down irretrievably.
Notable cases include an emergency application for the return of a child who had been taken to Northern Ireland without consent. Helen was also involved in a case whereby she acted for a husband where there were substantial joint assets, including pensions. There were protracted negotiations including 2 properties, disparity of income, bonus’ and maintenance claims, a settlement was finally reached on the morning of the final hearing.
Helen is a member of the national organisation of family lawyers, Resolution adhering to a Code of Practice to conduct matters in a constructive way to attempt to keep client’s dignity whilst achieving the best possible outcome. She is also the Vice Chair of Young Resolution Hampshire.
