Catherine is an Associate in the firm’s Family department. She joined Eric Robinson Solicitors in October 2016 and works out of our Lymington office.

Catherine qualified as a solicitor in 2010 and she deals with all aspects of Private Family Law including Divorce, Finances, Children’s matters, Special Guardianship applications, Cohabitation, Civil Partnerships and Domestic Violence injunctions.

She has a particular interest in Children’s matters and has dealt with a variety of cases including internal relocation, abduction, Special Guardianship, Domestic Violence, abuse and parental alienation.

As a trainee, she was involved in the Court of Appeal case reported as J (Children) 2009 EWCA Civ 1350) which concerned an appeal regarding the making of costs orders in Fact Finding hearings.

Since then, she has dealt with a  varied caseload including advising on the kidnapping of pets and the ownership of woks!

She initially studied French and Spanish at the University of Bristol, spending a year split between Paris and Argentina. She then worked as a fundraiser for Help the Aged (now Age UK) before training as a solicitor at the College of Law in Bloomsbury.

Upon qualification, she moved to the South Coast, as although she grew up in London, she has links to the area as her family is originally from the New Forest area.
