Spouse visas
We can advise on the evidence you will need for a successful application to come to the UK to join your spouse, civil partner or unmarried partner. We will always investigate your circumstances fully, to see if an in-country or EEA family application might be more suitable.
We can also advise on the requirements for overseas nationals who wish to marry in the UK, including applications for a Certificate of Approval.
Dependant of PBS visa holders
If you are in the UK under the Points-Based System, and want your family to join you, we can advise on the most efficient route. We can also advise on your right to work once you are in the UK, and on extending your visa.
European Economic Area applications
Our expertise includes advising on rights of free movement for nationals of the European Economic Area and their families. The Home Office cannot charge a fee for documents in this category, and EEA applicants and their families can acquire a permanent right of residence after a qualifying period in the UK.
Routes to Citizenship
We can advise on extending your permission to stay in the UK. If you have leave to remain in a category which could lead to British Citizenship, we can help you calculate whether you are eligible to apply, and help you make your application.
We can also advise on whether you may already have British Nationality, or if your children born in the UK will acquire it or can be registered as British Citizens.
Immigration appeals
If you have made an application to come to or remain in the UK, and it has been refused, you may have the right to appeal.
We have a record of successful representation of clients before the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal. We also offer clear and realistic advice on your options in the face of a refusal.
